delicious:days

When I went to the university in the mid 90s, two passions came along with it immediately:

The INTERNET and FOOD

It would be the understatement of the year to say we like to cook. In reality, we are addicted. We love to dive head first into shopping sprees for new kitchen equipment, reading and (of course) buying new cookbooks and continiously growing my amazon-wishlist - which will be hitting it’s maximum number of items anytime soon. :-)
Fortunately, Munich allows for great food shopping. We also love to host dinners for dear friends and family. It is the shared experience with with also food-loving friends that motivates us improvising and experimenting with new recipes and cooking methods.

While tirelessly on the hunt for new resources, I came across several food blogs, which ever since have accompanied my daily Internet studies. Most of them are from different continents (which is fascinating!), but something was missing. I have not found a food-related blog, also focusing on Munich – where we live. So why not give it a try and design and develop what I was missing?

CBS shows online: innertube

CBS has come through on its promise to keep you glued to your computer for just a little while longer.

The network announced Tuesday that it will start making full-length episodes of various prime-time series available for free viewing on Innertube, the broadband channel CBS launched in May.

Starting in September, new installments of all three CSIs, NCIS, Numb3rs, Survivor and the freshman drama Jericho will be posted online the morning after their network premieres. Each episode of the various crime procedurals will be accessible for four weeks after airing on CBS, while Jericho and Survivor episodes will stay afloat on Innertube all season long.

The ad-supported online channel, reachable through CBS.com, has been showing clips from shows like The Late Show with David Letterman and The Amazing Race, as well as supplementary programming intended to enhance your understanding of just what the heck is going on during Survivor and Big Brother each week.

Innertube also currently features original Internet-only programming--Hook Me Up, which gives you a glimpse at the unpredictable world of online dating; Animate This!, in which a memory submitted by a celebrity is turned into a cartoon for storytelling purposes; the meaty road show BBQ Bill; makeover series Greek to Chic; and InTurn, in which eight good-looking young people live together and battle it out Apprentice-style to become the next big thing in daytime TV.

*

The slate of original programming to premiere on innertube this month will include:

GREEK TO CHIC, a college-based makeover reality series;
BBQ BILL, a scripted sketch-comedy series starring Rick Najera ("In Living Color," "Mad TV");
ANIMATE THIS!, in which celebrities narrate humorous events from their personal lives that are brought to life through animation;
Pearl Jam's exclusive "Live On Letterman" webcast concert will broadcast live on CBS.com on May 4 after their appearance on the LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN, and will then re-stream on innertube that weekend;
BEYOND SURVIVOR, a behind-the-scenes look at how CBS's SURVIVOR is produced, including how producers come up with the weekly participant challenges; and
Existing CBS.com fan-favorite talk-show SURVIVOR LIVE will continue to stream live on CBS.com and be re-streamed on innertube the following day.

Additionally, several all-new original series are scheduled to debut on CBS's innertube during the summer.  They include:

INTURN, in which a group of young hopefuls live together while going through "soap opera boot camp" with the ultimate goal of being cast on the CBS Daytime hit AS THE WORLD TURNS;
THE GREEN ROOM, an entertainment magazine show that takes a somewhat irreverent look at CBS programming;
HOOK ME UP, a unique twist on the online-dating world;
SHOWTIME SHORTS, a selection of quirky and comedic independent short films that aired on Showtime's pay cable service;
Repurposed episodes of FIRE ME… PLEASE, a hidden-camera reality series that first aired on CBS;
THE BEST OF HOUSE CALLS, featuring highlights from CBS.com's "House Calls," the Internet talk show about BIG BROTHER, which will help viewers get re-acquainted with their favorite villains and sweethearts before this summer's BIG BROTHER: ALL STARS (working title) on CBS; and
All new, original episodes of the CBS.com talk show HOUSE CALLS, which will continue to stream live on CBS.com and then re-stream on innertube the following day, five days a week.
