Out of cynicism and frustration was born (pronounced shi-they-duh-ree).

A platform to highlight modern sophistry, intellectual dishonesty, social hypocrisy, smug attitudes of entitlement, and occasionally simple bad manners. The contributing writers call their families, strangers, neighbors, communities, leaders, and occasionally themselves to task for acts of shitheadery.

Have you ever wondered exactly when it was that civilization ended?

When was the last time you were cut off in traffic, flipped off, or treated as though you'd just stabbed someone with a fork because you had a question about the bill?

How many times have you watched or witnessed someone do something so ridiculously stupid you didn't know whether you should laugh, cry, punch them in the face, or punch yourself in the face out of sheer frustration?

Have you ever watched the news, thought you could process what you just heard, turned in amazement to the person sitting next you and found yourself unable to express your thoughts?

Have you ever wanted to vent, rant, or write about it?

These reactions are symptoms of having witnessed shitheadery.

Shitheadery is far reaching and fairly broad and is best defined by anything that would make you question another person's actions. Actions that cause you to think, say, or scream, "are you kidding me" or "W-T-F" are most likely a result of shitheadery.

The articles on this site come from different writers with different opinions and understandings of shitheadery. It is after all subjective and open to interpretation.
