Prezi - The Zooming Presentation Editor

Rob Newberry, Director of Education Technology at Chatsworth International School in Singapore, Apple Distinguished Educator, Prezi evangelist and all around good guy was one of the first testers of Prezi Meeting. After the feature went live, he immediately started to use it in the classroom. First he tought his grade 5 class how to use Prezi, then after getting good at it, he introduced Prezi Meeting – just a few days after it was launched. The kids said it was easy to learn, and they really enjoyed using it.

xtranormal's mission is to bring movie-making to the people. Everyone watches movies and we believe everyone can make movies. Movie-making, short and long, online and on-screen, private and public, will be the most important communications process of the 21st century.

Our revolutionary approach to movie-making builds on an almost universally held skill—typing. You type something; we turn it into a movie. On the web and on the desktop.

Storybird - Collaborative storytelling

Storybird is a service that uses collaborative storytelling to connect kids and families. Two (or more) people create a Storybird in a round robin fashion by writing their own text and inserting pictures. They then have the option of sharing their Storybird privately or publicly on the network. The final product can be printed, watched on screen, played with like a toy, or shared through a worldwide library.

Storybird is also a simple publishing platform for writers and artists that allows them to experiment, publish their stories, and connect with their fans.

The Great Courses

We work closely with our customers and professors to create every single Great Course. Here's how we do it:

  • Customers Choose the Professor: We begin with the top 1% of professors in America. In the end, only 1 in 5,000 professors meets the standards set by our customers, who vote on all our professors.
  • Customers Choose the Course: We interview thousands of customers to find our what courses they want and how they want them made.
  • Professors Carefully Craft the Course: Months of preparation ensure that a course will satisfy our customers. Long before a word is spoken on stage, our professor outlines and prepares each lecture and writes the extensive Course Guidebook.

Each day, the site takes a closer look at the things that companies try to bury in their routine SEC filings. Some posts are simply quirky little factoids (like the fact that Warren Buffett's son relies on ConAgra for his health insurance) while others tend to focus on more serious issues, like aggressive accounting, excessive compensation or the type of questionableself dealing that can often be indicative of more serious problems at a company.
